Podlasie Academy of Culture

Podlasie Academy of Culture are monthly film screenings, which are divided into five thematic blocks: Podlasian Academy – within its framework we want to demonstrate the impact of Podlasian artists on Polish and global culture; Polish Film Academy – presentation of the artists of Polish cinema, who were awarded at festivals and whose films were shown in cinemas worldwide; World Academy Cinema – screenings of classic films which are regarded as masterpieces, both from the past and the latest; Historic Academy – film screenings, referring to several important historical anniversaries significant for Polish history; Academy of the Document – documentary screenings. Aim of the Academy is to: familiarize the audience with outstanding works of Polish and world cinema; bring closer historical issues; broaden the knowledge of participants of the Podlasie Academy in the area of outstanding forms Polish and world culture and meeting with interesting creators.
