10-year old Oskar has a dream: to ride the American prairies with his mother. Shortly before the summer holidays, his mother travels to the States, while Oskar has to stay with his grumpy Grandad. Fortunately, he gets to know a farmer called Levi and his short-sighted pony: they make plans for the three of them to travel to America in a little boat and find Oskar’s mother.
