Pagan Poetry is a series of portraits over which Marcin Nagraba has worked in the past few years, working with costume designer Agnieszka Osipa. The photos are inspired by Slavic customs and culture, though – as the artist points out – it is rather a loose inspiration. In his work he hid symbols, the discovery of which gives the audience a lot of satisfaction and allows to launch the imagination. Many of the photos were posed by the artist’s mother, which is very special to him, very personal.

Marcin Nagraba – Polish photographer and graphic designer born in 1992, lives in Warsaw.
