Halina Kunicka (born on February 18th, 1938 in Lviv) – Polish pop singer. She graduated from law at the Warsaw University (1959). She was particularly popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Her biggest hits include “Orkiestry dętę”, “Niech no tylko zakwitną jabłonie”, “Lato, lato czeka”, “Od nocy do nocy”, “To były piękne dni”.

Kunicka has been known for a diverse repertoire dating back to the classic pre-war cabaret and Russian romances. Many of her songs have been written especially for her by legendary Polish songwriters Wojciech Młynarski and Ernest Bryll. She has performed her programs in Poland, and also in Europe, Israel, Canada, Australia, and the USA. Her twelve albums, including three that went gold, received a total of more than one million copies sold.
