Based on a true story set in the 50s, when the serial killer Władysław Mazurkiewicz terrorised Cracow. This handsome, elegant playboy murderer went unpunished for a very long time until he met his match in the young militia detective Karski, who brought him to justice.

– For us the story of Władysław Mazurkiewicz, who was suspected of 30 murders and is probably the most famous killer in the post-war crime history of Poland, is a way to travel in time and to say something about these times as well as the man who was tracking him down and who was changed by this investigation – Krzysztof Lang.
