The performance is based on the eponymous poem by Edward Lear. It is full of lyrical, witty and nonsensical situations, woven into the history of Dong’s love for a certain Lady, with the sound of the sea in the background. The scenography being built in front of the audience plays the important role, as well as the unusual music.
