Kino Dzieci (Kids Kino) is an International Film Festival addressed mainly to the viewers at the age of 4-12 and their families & guardians. From the very beginning, the idea behind the festival was to make valuable worthwhile movies available to the general public. All the productions have been carefully selected considering their educational, artistic and production values.

Ella Bella Bingo
Ella Bella Bingo is organizing a circus for her very best friend, Henry, as he has never been to a circus before. Ella Bella is very excited and looks forward to being the main attraction. But on the very day of the circus cool kid Johnny moves into the neighborhood. He has a splendid idea of showstopper, he wants to do a bicycle stunt together with Henry. Henry is in awe of this new boy, while Ella Bella feels she is losing her best friend. She has to save the circus, but most of all her friendship. The movie is a road trip, where three kids learns the real magic of friendship.

 

Pelle No Tail
Pelle No-Tail is a timeless Swedish animated classic about a pampered kitten who lost his tail. One day a sudden storm steals Pelle from the safe countryside and takes him on a true adventure in the strange city. There Pelle meets the lovely and kind Maya Whitecheeks, and soon a true friendship blossoms. However, it’s not always easy being the new cat in town. JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Secret of the Train
Jerry and Maya have had their detective agency shut down by the police chief when a customer ask for help to prove her father is innocent of the train robbery he was convicted of. Jerry and Maya now see their great chance to show off.

 

The Adventures of Halvdan Viking
Halvdan is not a proper Viking. He’s having a limp and is regarded by the other kids as a strange loner with no friends, except for the village blacksmith Björn who’s taken care of him since Halvdan’s father left on a plundering trip. Across the mighty river there’s an enemy village that has been in a feud with Halvdan’s tribe for as long as anyone can remember. One day during Halvdan’s lonely excursions to the river he encounters Meia, the daughter of the enemy village ruler. A harmonious duo begins an investigation, but suddenly a crazy twelve-year-old Felka appears on the horizon and trouble comes with her. The story of jealousy and trust is intertwined with solving a criminal mystery. Triple Trouble is the story of a tested friendship, which can become even stronger.

 

The Crossing
THE CROSSING tells the story of the adventurous 10-year-old Gerda and her brother Otto, whose parents are in the Norwegian resistance movement during the Second World War. One day, just before Christmas in 1942, Gerda and Otto’s parents are arrested, leaving the siblings on their own. Following the arrest, they discover two Jewish children, Sarah and Daniel, hidden in a secret cupboard in their basement at home. It is now up to Gerda and Otto to finish what their parents started: To help Sarah and Daniel flee from the Nazis cross the border to neutral Sweden and reunite them with their parents. THE CROSSING is a film about the confidence, uncompromising loyalty and great courage you can find in even the youngest of children.
