Jan Mela will talk about his travels and what he experienced then.

Jan Mela was born in 1988 in Gdańsk. When he was 13, he had a serious accident. As a result of the electric shock, he lost his arm and leg. Two years later, accompanied by traveller Marek Kamiński, he reached the North and South Pole. In subsequent years, he participated in expeditions to Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, and completed the New York City Marathon among other achievements.

In 2009 he founded Poza Horyzonty foundation, helping people after amputations to buy prostheses and return to active life. He received many prestigious awards in the field of sport and pro-social activities.
