ALAMEDA 5 (Alameda Organisation) – the band founded in 2014 by Jakub Ziołek (Stara Rzeka, Innercity Ensemble, Zimpel/Ziołek), Mikołaj Zieliński (T’ien Lai, Alameda 4, Javva), Łukasz Jędrzejczak (T’ien Lai, Javva, Duży Jack), Jacek Buhl (Jachna/Mazurkiewicz/Buhl, Jaząbu, ex-Trytony) and Rafał Iwańskii (HATI, Innercity Ensemble, X-Navi:Et).

ALAMEDA 5 is the result of musical searches focused on the trance, progressive electronics of the 70s and more extreme and non-normative styles of jazz and improvised music. Their debut album “Duch Tornada” (2015, Instant Classic), gathered many enthusiastic reviews, and according to journalists of “Noise Magazine” was the second best Polish album of the years 2000-2016. Since then, the group’s music has evolved towards further exploration of African and Latin American rhythms, inspirited with early fusion in the spirit of Miles Davis and post-punk, which resulted in the second album of the quintet released in early 2019 by Instant Classic named “Eurodrome”.
