Bonjour La France! Review of French films!

Białostocki Ośrodek Kultury, New Horizons of Film Education and the French Institute in Poland invite you to an unique review of French cinema.

Review “Bonjour La France” will present the problems of modern France: immigration, lights and shadows of a multicultural society and technological transformations of everyday life. Its show young viewers multidimensional France and videos that will show the life of their peers – close but at the same time different from their own. “Bonjour La France” will be held in 16 cities in Poland.

The review will be an opportunity to meet with the French cinema and enable students of primary, gymnasium and upper secondary school to learn elements of French history, culture and customs. We invite not only students who learn French, but also people who would like to get to know this extraordinary culture (movies will be shown with a lecturer or polish subtitles).

The program:

• modern animated short and full-length films for primary school students (grades 1-3 and 4-6)
• movies for student of gymnasium and upper secondary school
• there will be: lectures, workshops in selected cinemas
• teaching materials and lesson plans for teachers (not just French) – materials related to the topic selected videos or cultural issues
• movies with a lecturer or Polish subtitles (depending on age of group)
