We will start our adventure with Cameroon from a visit to a police station. When we deal with the Cameroonian bureaucracy, we will have a trip to the mountains. It will take 6 days for us to reach the highest mountain of Cameroon. On the trip through the rainforest we will be tracking down elephants, monkeys, and exotic birds. From the altitude of over 4000 m we will descend to the Atlantic Ocean, to the town of Limbe, where we will meet Cameroonian fishermen. During the trip to the Dja Faunal Reserve, we will visit a Pygmy village. We will learn about their methods of hunting, and how their houses look like. On our way back, we will learn about the charms of travelling on the Cameroon roadless tracks. At the end of your stay in Cameroon, we will rest on the coast. In Kribi we will be lounging on a beautiful beach, accompanied by lizards, butterflies and hunting kingfishers.
And all this thanks to Robert Gondek – traveller, photographer and enthusiast of Africa. Robert has visited 18 African countries so far. For carrying out the project “On the Way to the Highest Peaks of Africa”, aiming to reach the highest peaks in each African country, he received an honourable mention in the category “Achievement of the Year” at the “Kolosy” in Gdynia, the largest and most prestigious travel festival in Poland.
Presenter of numerous travel shows awarded by the audience and jury during festivals in Łódź, Środa Wielkopolska and Poznań. He has been publishing his texts for “Podróże”, “Poznaj Świat”, “NPM”,and “All Inclusive” magazines, among others. He also wrote a photo book “On the Way to the Highest Peaks of Africa”. Robert organizes trips to the African continent. He is learning the Swahili language.
