Concert: Niemoc + Film: Elektro_Sonda

We have the pleasure of inviting you to a concert within the ¿Underground?/Independent? 2018 festival:

March 17th, 2018,  8 PM
FAMA club, 5 Legionowa Street
tickets: 15 PLN – available at the Forum cinema’s box office and on www.bilety.bok.bialystok.pl

Niemoc is a phenomenal electronic-guitar trio from Zielona Góra, an excellent combination of a sleepy, slightly exotic atmosphere with distinct influences of new wave and post-punk. The band, which is almost four years old, has already managed to mix up on the home music scene.

Since its beginning in 2014, the band has been consistently building its catalog, their EPs have been published by, among others, Father And Sons Records And Tapes, Brennnessel, or MOST. However, it was mainly concerts that became the driving force of the band. Instrumental and dance forms have fueled the Niemoc’ enthusiasm among fans of guitar sounds as well as the club goers. The band is currently recording their first LP, which will be released in 2018.

Prior to the concert, there will be a screening of a film devoted to Polish electronic music: ELEKTRO_SONDA, dir. Tomasz Knittel

An innovative musical film, inspired by the “Sonda” – a cult television popular science program, broadcast in the 1980s. The film exceeds the classic genre divisions. This is a sensational film presentation of the contemporary Polish music scene. This is also a kind of a philosophical story, that deals with important issues that we face today, such as the ubiquity of technology or visions of the future, in which the man is not the most important. The film takes the viewer into the world of the imagination of a young boy, thanks to VR glasses discovering the trance world of electronic music, suspended between the past, present and future. The hero, during his virtual journey above time, meets stars of Polish electronics, such as Kamp!, BOKKA, Rysy, Zamilska, Komendarek, JAAA!, Polpo Motel or Golczewski.
