Croatia – What Has Marco Polo not Seen?

We have the pleasure of inviting you to a presentation within the Curious about the World series:

Anna and Krzysztof Kobus: Croatia – What Has Marco Polo not Seen?

December 3rd, 2019, 6 PM
Fama club, 5 Legionowa Street
tickets: 10 PLN, available at the Forum cinema’s box office (5 Legionowa Street), BCC/LZC’ box office (19 Warszawska Street) and on bilety.bok.bialystok.pl

During the presentation we will set off on a journey from Zagorje to Dalmatia. We will see the city built in the imperial palace, the place where Marco Polo was born and the great wall around the city of Ston. We will play the roles of the pirates of Kornati and look for underwater treasures. We will learn centuries-old traditions: in Sinj we will take part in a knight tournament (played for 300 years!), In Korczula we will see the famous saber dance, and on the island of Rab we will travel to the Middle Ages. We will visit the bear orphanage and the hospital for birds, and discover the attractions of the Plitvice Lakes. In Dubrovnik we will find a paradise beach, in Nin the smallest cathedral in the world, while in Zagorje we will meet our ancestors and the city of angels
