The Days in Dioceses preceding the main celebrations of World Youth Day, are a time that pilgrims spend in selected dioceses of the country that organises the meeting of young people. In Poland, also in Bialystok they will take place between 20^th and 25^th of July known also as The Mission Week are scheduled few days before the WYD. For the pilgrims the Days in the dioceses are an invitation to discover the richness of the Church and of the country that they visit, as well as to meet families and young people who want to receive them. For the hosts it’s an opportunity to take part in the feast of faith and joy together with young people from all over the world.

20.07.2016

Registration at the Bialystok City Stadium. The evening  Holy Masses in parishes.

 21.07.2016

08:30 – 11:00      Activities in parishes.

12:00 – 14:00      The Angelus Prayerier, dinner  (square by Bialystok University of Technology).

14:00 – 18:00      Białystok sightseeing.

18:00 – 19:30      A Ceremonial Mass with His Excellency Archbishop Edward Ozorowski in Bialystok Archicathedral. The Mass with participation of municipal and provincial authorities.

19:30 – 20:15     The procession with lanterns through the streets of the city to the Sanctuary of  Divine Mercy in Białystok.

20:15 – 22:00    The prayer vigil.

08:30 – 09:00     Prayers in parishes.

09:00 – 10:30     Trip to Sokółka.

11:00 – 15:00      Meeting in Sokółka (spectacle about The Eucharistic Miracle, the Holly Mass, dinner).

15:30 – 16:30      Trip to Święta Woda.

17:00 – 18:00      Arrival in Święta Woda, time for sightseeing of sanctuary.

18:00 – 19:00      The Mystery of the Passion of Christ – Dźwięki w Godzinie Ciszy.

19:00 – 19:30      The prayer at the Cross.

19:30 – 21:00       Bonfire.

21:00                   The Angelus Prayerier, return.

23.07.2016

08:30 – 09:30       Holy Masses in parishes.

09:30 – 19:00       Tourist excursions (Choroszcz, Trzcianne, Białowieża, Korycin, Sokółka, Suchowola, Goniądz, Michałowo, Supraśl, Kurowo).

19:00 – 22:00        Concert: Sirion, Strona B and Siostry Jeremiasza (square by Bialystok Archicathedral).

24.07.2016

08:00 – 15:00        Day with family.

15:00 – 16:00        Concert: Boże Echo and Winnica.

16.00 – 18:00         Presentation of nation culture (square by Bialystok Archicathedral).

18.00 – 20:00         Adoration concert.

20.00 – 21:00         Official closing of the Days in the Diocese.
