“The idea of creating our own verbal and musical vision of the Decalogue have crystallized in our conversations for several years. The Ten Commandments is the most important moral code of Christians. Many thinkers consider it a set of rules of civilized life serving human development. It hides universal and profound wisdom. It does not lose its relevance.
From the musical point of view, our project is similar to a ten-part suite based on formal patterns developed in the Renaissance and Baroque, modified in subsequent eras, enriched with the experience of contemporary music and jazz. The creator of music, Andrzej Jagodziński, has many years of experience in combining and associating jazz with classical music, Polish folk music and cooperation with classical orchestras.”
