Diary of a Chambermaid

Since 22th of May we invite to the Forum Cinema for the latest film adaptation of famous novel of Octave Mirbeau „Diary of a Chambermaid”. This film is starring–known from „Blue is the warmest colour” and „Grand Budapest Hotel” – Léa Seydoux!

Early twentieth century, in the province. Célestine, a young chambermaid who is much courted for her beauty, has just arrived from Paris to work for the Lanlaire family. Fending off her master’s advances, Célestine also has to cope with the strict Madame Lanlaire who rules the household with an iron fist.
