Emilia Sisco & Helge Tallqvist Band
Emilia Sisco with Helge Tallqvist and his band is a fresh Blues/R&B/Soul band from Helsinki, Finland. Groovy blues/roots music with a killer band and a young outstanding lady on the vocals. Emilia’s voice is amazingly strong, possessing a lot of unprejudiced courage, as her distinctive style brings freshness to the songs. The other band members are well known professionals in the blues/roots genre. On guitar we also have a youngster, Konsta Kovalev, who, despite his young age, convinced all blues and roots music lovers. On bass – Tom Nyman – who is famous for many bands in Finland. On drums – Jupe Litmanen. The outcome is a smooth combination of strong experience and young open-mindedness.

Nina Masara
Nina has the looks of a retro black and white movie star with a sassy voice that will remind you of modern day belters like Rhiannon Giddens, Victoria Williams, and Valerie June. With a tinge of “I told you so” in her voice, Nina takes on critics and fans with her U.S. debut, Watch Me. This album was released on March 3, 2017, on CSP Records, an independent label out of Texas. Label President Jimmy Rogers, who has spearheaded many a blues artist over the past 40 years, was so knocked out by her that he signed her on the spot.

Raised in Denmark by her American father and Danish mother, Nina grew up listening to legends like Delbert McClinton, Keb’ Mo, Taj Mahal and Bob Dylan while working beside her father in his local Mexican restaurant. That myriad of influences continues as Nina accompanied her parents when they did the backstage catering for artists like B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Feat, John Hiatt and more. She couldn’t wait to make her own music. She began working in the studio with the award-winning Danish producer Morten Wittrock when she was just 15-years- old, doing everything from making coffee to editing Pro Tools tracks. Now she is residing in Nashville, TN.

Nina’s unique blend of New Orleans earthiness, a little Etta James vocal styling along with some Scandinavian sweetness, brings a magical mojo to every song. Her voice creates a listening experience that honours both Nina’s deep commitment to her musical roots and her desire to do something entirely new. She is brave, unafraid and determined.

Matt Schofield
Born in Manchester, England, guitar player and singer Matt Schofield is lauded as the British blues guitarist of current times. Guitarist magazine said, “there isn’t a better British blues guitarist playing currently”.

Back from another well-received US tour, Schofield is expanding his borders. The LA Times stated, “in Schofield, the UK has produced the best blues guitarist from any country in decades”. Vintage Guitar magazine said, “the best of his generation’s European blues players. His feel for the music is incredible”.

Matt Schofield was rated in the top ten British blues guitarists of all time by Guitar & Bass Magazine alongside such icons as Eric Clapton and Peter Green. His prowess as a blues guitarist has seen him trade licks with iconic guitarists like Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang and Robben Ford, and brought him high praise in the ‘Penguin Book of Blues Recordings’ as one of only two living British artists to gain a maximum four-star rating.

Band members:
Matt Schofield – guitar / vocals
