Fissmoll is one of the most surprising début of 2013 year. This young artist is an unusual singer, songwriter and an excellent guitarist as well. At the beginning of his musical career his name was mentioned by fans and journalists next to such great artists as Bon Iver, Sigur Rós, Ben Howard or Damien Rice. His instrumental tracks are close to aesthetic sensibility of Arvo Pärt i Ólafur Arnalds.

His debut album “At Glade” (the premiere was in 18th June, 2013) found among ten best music albums of 2014 in Gazeta Wyborcza’s ranking and was nominated for Fryderyki Award in Debut of the Year Category. Prior to its premiere the single “Let’s Play Birds” was nominated as A Song of a Day by Marek Niedźwiecki in radio Trójka broadcast , his clip has had almost 2 million views on YouTube.

Fissmoll ‘s uniqe composer and arrangement skills are emphasised by excellent musicians and journalists such as Barbara Nosowska and Artur Orzech. The mastering of his album and its single was done by Mandy Parnell, who was deeply fascinated with Fissmoll’s work. In music industry Parnell is linked with production of excellent sounds CDs of Björk, Sigur Rós, Depeche Mode, Roisin Murphy, Feist, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Little Dragon, Múm, Jose Gonzales, Matthew Herbert, Royksopp, Emiliana Torrini, The White Stripes, etc.

The Fissmoll’s pseudonym becomes from his childhood, when his father (the great violinist) had observed his son had been singing in the key of F sharp minor all the time. When Fissmoll grow up took Fissmoll pseudonym as a symbol of the purest and natural music, which becomes from his soul. The artist has performed at Open’er Festival, Slot Art Festival, Music Trade Co jest Grane, Sziget Festival (HU), Eurosonic Noorderslag (NL), he will performe during The Great Escape Festival (UK). Fissmoll will be concert with the material of his new album.
