The exhibition presents 266 photos: 42 single photos, 15 photo reportages, four documentary projects, and two single photos and three photo reportages in the Young Poland category. These works reached the finals of the competition.
The title of the Photo of the Year was awarded to Jacek Szydłowski’s photo for “Dziennik Wschodni”, showing a nurse from the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Lublin, on duty in a special tent for segregating patients during the coronavirus pandemic.
National Grand Press Photo Competition of Press Photography has been organized since 2005 by the “Press” magazine. This is a competition for professional photojournalists working in press and internet editorial offices, in photo agencies and for freelancers.
