Gambia, called the land of smiles is not a typical tourist destination. This tiny African country is facing many problems that make travel there different than anywhere else.

What does it mean? What can you experience in a country without typical tourist attractions? How to travel to places so different from those we know and what cultural differences do we have to face? And above all – is it ethical?

Kaja Kraska, Globstory – journalist, passionate about travelling alone and telling stories with a film. She lived in Istanbul and Barcelona. Currently, she spends most of her time travelling. So far, she has visited Turkey, China, Iran, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Greece, Georgia, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Mexico, Thailand, Cambodia, Romania, Kyrgyzstan and Gambia with the camera.
