Kristen was found in 1997 in Szczecin by Michał Biela, Mateusz Rychlicki, and Łukasz Rychlicki. On the Polish independent scene there is no other band, that would operate longer and record such high quality albums. Each of their albums is a feast for fans of Polish alternative.

The music of Kristen is difficult to sort into one single style, however it is grounded in the American guitar alternative music of the 90’, bands such as Fugazi, Tortoise, June of 44, or Blonde Redhead. The band is famous for their outstanding concerts, the number of which counts in hundreds. In the autumn of 2016 they published their eighth, most recent album – LAS.

Kobieta z Wydm is a new band of Błażej Król. He used to create guitar songs, then – sad electronic compositions. Now he returns to the independent music with new dark trance melodies. This time Król does not play the synthesizers or the guitar but the bass. The keyboard is now the domain of Iwona, the wife of Błażej. The guitar was taken over by Mateusz Rychlicki, known from the band Kristen where he is a drummer.
