Loving Vincent
In a story depicted in oil painted animation, a young man comes to the last hometown of painter Vincent van Gogh to deliver the troubled artist’s final letter and ends up investigating his final days there.
This feature-length painted animation — the first film of its kind — explores the life and unusual death of Vincent Van Gogh via depictions of his artworks. Directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman.

Dorota Roqueplo
Born in Neuilly, France. She completed her education at The International Fashion and Costume Design School in Paris (Ecole Internationale des Arts de la Mode).

Dorothée Roqueplo is considered one of the best Polish costume designers. She works in film productions as well as in theater and in advertisement.

She has been nominated and awarded many times the Polish Film Academy Award – ‘Orły’ /Eagles, as well as Gdynia Film Festival Award – Golden Lions for films – ‘Hiszpanka / Influenza’ by Lukasz Barczyk, ‘Warsaw 44’ by Jan Komasa, ‘The Mill and The Cross’ by Lech Majewski (recreation of Bruegel painting, starring Charlotte Rampling, Michael York and Rutger Hauer), ‘Nikifor’ by Krzysztof Krauze among them.

Dorota is member of Polish Film Academy and European Film Academy.
