Łukasz Pawlik and Mike Stern decided to join forces on the stage, giving the audience the opportunity to observe the interaction of the legend of the American fusion movement with the leading Polish jazz scene, in the cooperation with the Grammy-awarded rhythm section of Paweł Pańta and Cezary Konrad, and saxophonist Szymon Kamykowski.

Mike Stern
One of the most respected guitarists of his generation. Over the course of over four decades, he has cooperated with Blood, Sweat & Tears, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius, Brecker Brothers, and John Henderson. He has released 16 albums. Mike Stern is an electrifying soloist, whose stunning virtuosity combines power of rock fused with sophisticated jazz harmony with a hint of blues. He has the ability to always turn a concert or a jam session more interesting.

Łukasz Pawlik
Jazz pianist, cellist, composer. During the time of his studies at Western Michigan University he became keenly interested in jazz. The first, important platform for his compositional attempts was the international jazz-group Kattorna, a band that was formed to celebrate the music of Krzysztof Komeda. However, as the time passed, the group’s repertoire started to gravitate towards Łukasz’s musical visions. In 2010 the band recorded an album “Straying To The Moon” that comprised mostly Łukasz’s music. After a couple of years Łukasz started to work on new material for the upcoming CD under his name. He selected a bunch of outstanding musicians to record the instrumental parts, such as the saxophonist Dawid Główczewski, with whom he’d already collaborated for many years in Kattorna, the Poland’s top, Grammy-awarded, rhythm section of Paweł Pańta and Cezary Konrad, as well as special guests: Mike Stern and Michael “Patches” Stewart.
