Forests cover the area of nearly 30% of our country. On average, we need 23 minutes to reach them. What do we really know about them? Are we connected with them and what results from it?

Together with Magda and Piotr we will go on a trip to the Knyszyn Forest. We will look at what the forest is and what role it plays in our lives, as well as how to learn about it and from it.

Magda Bębenektraveller, author, initiator of social and ecological projects. After years of nomadism and fulfilling travel dreams, inspired by contact with the indigenous Hawaiian culture and traditions, she began to combine her experience to promote the idea of a broadly understood return to nature and a committed life.

Piotr Horzelaspeaker, traveler, naturalist. He has spent four of the last nine years on other continents. Travel led him, among others to the Polish Polar Station, South Sudan and South America. For almost four years he has been giving lectures during which he talks about people, places and his experiences from the world.

In April 2018, Magda and Piotr moved for nearly a year and a half to the Knyszyn Forest, from which they carry out the “Forest in Us” project.
