Monika Borzym
A jazz vocalist. Born in 1990. She published 3 albums. She comes from a musical family: her father is an instrumentalist, her mother – a vocalist who was leading a choir for many years. During the Jazz Jamboree 2009 Michał Urbaniak invited her on stage to perform together. Her daring performance moved the audience, then she was offered her first album contract.  She graduated with honours a piano class in a music school. Then she began studying jazz vocalistic at the Faculty of Singing at the Fryderyk Chopin Public Secondary School of Music in Warsaw. Travelling across the ocean and education at the John Jersey High School reassured her that her way is to sing jazz. The breakthrough moment in her career was receiving a University of Miami Frost School of Music scholarship in 2008.  Having returned to Poland, she began to study psychosexology, what became an another passion of her, next to music.
