The story of a group of friends who decided not to leave Łódź and created a new place there. The protagonists are six musicians who founded a social cooperative, in order to manage a music club: DOM (Home), which quickly became an independent cultural centre in the city. For two years Piotr Szczepański’s camera follows their lives and the functioning of the club. The DOM Club and its owners are a phenomenon which portrays forty-year-old artists creating a business in an aim to support their creative work.

We have the pleasure of inviting you to the discussion following the movie themed: “Why is Białystok still waiting for its independent DOM?”, hosted by Andrzej Bajguz from the Polish Radio Białystok.

The discussion will be fused with a meeting with Kuba Wandachowicz – bassist, songwriter and composer, member of Cool Kids of Death, Tryp, NOT, and Mister D, co-owner of the Łódź DOM club.
