Przemysław Kapituła
Organist, musical impresario, continuator of the musical tradition of the Warsaw Archcathedral Basilica. A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw in the organ class of Prof. Józef Serafin. He was studying under many European pedagogues, took piano lessons from Prof. Kajetan Mochtak, he also collaborated with Prof. Jerzy Erdman PhD.

He regularly performs at home and abroad, giving around 120 concerts a year at the most important festivals. He collaborated with soloists (including B. Ładysz, T. Żylis-Gara, O. Pasiecznik), choirs and orchestral ensembles (including the Orchestra of the Grand Theater of the National Opera in Warsaw). The work of prominent Polish organists Mieczysław Surzyński (1866-1924) and Feliks Nowowiejski (1877-1946) took a special place among his interests, he is the publisher of all their organ works on records.

As the director of the “Sacred Music Festival” Foundation, he organizes about 270 concerts a year, in which over 25,000 listeners participate. He is the initiator, general and artistic director of the International Sacred Music Festival in Warsaw and the International Festival of Organ Music “Archcathedral Organ” in Warsaw. He is also the originator and creator of the concerts: “Organ of Śródmieście – Warsaw Organ Festival”, “Baroque Organ” “Great Organ in the Archcathedral”, “Organ of the St. Wojciech Parish in Wola “,”Wola Organ”. He initiated the renovation of historic organ of the Warsaw St. Wojciech church. He is the laureate of the Primate of Poland’s Prize “Silver Pipe” (2009) for his contribution to the development of sacred music in Poland. He hosted master classes In Italy devoted to the interpretation of organ music.
