Oscars, awardes of American Film Academy are a phenomenon, which always bring biggest emotions in a film world. Each year, when on a cold January day are announced nominations for the prestigious golden statues, people all over the world comment best five movies in each category.
There is only one winner in each category, but always this is a very difficult choice, because all nominated films are on the highest world level. Its honour to present you OSCAR nominated Short Films 2015.

Two strangers unexpectedly meet at an airport. He mistakenly confuses her to be his assigned driver. She, enchanted by the random encounter, does not hurry to prove him wrong.
BOOGALOO AND GRAHAM
dir. Michael Lennox, United Kingdom 2012, 14’
Jamesy and Malachy are so happy when father give them two chickens. To bring them up, boys became vegetarians and dream about having their own chicken farm. They are in chock when parents inform them about huge changes in their family.
BUTTER LAMP

A photographer and his assistant capture family portraits of the inhabitants of a remote Tibetan village. BUTTER LAMP has received 70 prestigious film awards and has been selected by over 200 film festivals including Cannes Critic’s week, AFI Fest, Clermont Ferrand Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival to name a few.
PARVANEH
dir. Talkhon Hamzavi, Switzerland 2012, 15’
Parvaneh is a young Afghan immigrant who recently arrived at a transit centre for asylum seekers in the Swiss Alps. The only things she has got to know yet are the rural area surrounding the centre and the centre itself.
THE PHONE CALL dir. Mat Kirkby, United Kingdim 2013, 21’ – this year Winner of OSCAR Award
Heather is a shy lady who works in a helpline call centre. When she receives a phone call from a mystery man, she has no idea that the encounter will change her life forever.
