Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World

We have the pleasure of inviting you to a film screening within the 33rd Autumn with the Blues festival:

Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World

November 8th, 2017, 8 PM
Forum Cinema, 5 Legionowa Street
tickets: 12 PLN

A film about a lost chapter in the history of American popular music – the forgotten contribution of Native Americans to its development. The title of the movie comes from the Link Wray’s 1958 cult chords, that for many musicians become the milestone of rock music development. As far as everyone knows them, only few are aware that Wray was a Native American from the Shawnee tribe. Blues is not free from the influences of music of pre-colonial America. This will be discussed by Buddy Guy, Tony Bennett, Steven Van Zandt, Iggy Pop, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Wayne Kramer, and Jackson Browne among others.
