Białostocki Ośrodek Kultury, Foksal Publishing Group and the Embassy of Finland invite to a meeting with Salla Simukka – Finnish author of best-selling crime novels for young people

Salla Simukka (born in 1981) is currently the most popular Finnish writer for young people.She was born and lives in Tampere.She made her debut in 2002, but international fame brought her the series about the adventures of Lumikka Andersson (2013), which has been published in more than 50 countries around the world.
Simukka also explains Scandinavian adult books, works in the literary magazine ‘Lukufiilis’ and reviews books for such newspaper as: ‘Helsingin Sanomat’, ‘Hämeen Sanomat’ and ‘Suomen Kuvalehti’.
For novel Jäljellä and Toisaalla she got a Topelius awared as best children’s literature author.
