A gripping and heartbreaking crime drama based on real events that shocked Poland. It is a story about the life of Tomasz Komenda – a young man wrongly accused and sentenced to 25 years in prison for rape and murder of a teenage girl. The filmmakers make an attempt to find answers to all the questions that are still bothering public opinion: how could this happen and why did an innocent man have to wait 18 years in the cell for justice?
