The film takes place in the pre-war Białystok region. This is a crime story of a mysterious woman based on true events. Iga (Izabela Wilczewska), fleeing the difficult past, returns to her native Białystok. It turns out, however, that in a provincial city, where the stories of a secret Podlachian cult, Polish and Russian neighbours and the mafia interests of the Jewish underworld are interwoven, it is not easy to find shelter. However, her own past may turn out to be the greatest threat…
