As an accordion trio, the ensemble was founded in 2014 on the initiative of accordion class students of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice: Marcin Jabłoński, Adam Potera and Krystian Saciłowski. They were united by a common passion and willingness to present the accordion as a beautiful and versatile instrument. In 2015, they were joined by Kuba Kotowicz, who plays the percussion instruments, a graduate of the stage music and jazz department of the same university.

Symetrio’s concerts are fun with sound, experiments, improvisation, and above all – a unique performance in which the music filled with emotions plays a leading role.
