Following the closing of theaters, we invite you to a special online screening of selected films from this year’s 17th FPA review! During the hour and a half film set, you will learn what’s new in short film from Podlasie, how the filmmakers live today and what moves them the most. An additional attraction will be the screening of the film “Klechda” by Paweł Łukomski, which this year won the Audience Award – Golden Turtleneck.

A satirical animated miniseries about everyday life in a world overrun by the coronavirus. The project was made thanks to the scholarship program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage – Culture in the Web.

Impression about what is happening in Polish society now. A strange time of social divisions followed. It is a loose political critique of the times we live in and the political moods that surround us. “We are not trying to take sides. We just watch it with curiosity and horror at the same time ” – say the authors.

The attempt at dialogue between a woman and a man evolves into a symbolic phenomenon. The woman moves into space and returns to Earth to establish a thread of understanding with the man on the pedestal.

Ostatni Junak, dir. Mikołaj Janik
Gosia and Krystian are driving a very winding road. Is there a correlation between passion and love? And between love and pain? What is dependence on another human being and what is true freedom?

Ślad, dir. Mateusz Grzymkowski
Katarzyna wants to leave a trace. She knows that because of her disability, she will never have a family and children of her own. Therefore, she wants to remain at least in the memory of other people. “Ślad” is a question about the meaning of life. A question that has no answer.

Rozwiązanie, dir. Szymon Ruczyński
21st century. The film’s protagonist observes incredulously how faith in witchcraft is revived among a small local community. The mysterious woman is accused of practicing black magic. Everyone has a say, and local authorities, the media, and the Church are involved. Even the heroine herself discovers that taking a stance in this dispute may not be as obvious as it seemed at the beginning.

Juju, an immigrant from Africa, trying to get to the European Union ends up in the hands of organ traders, Bobok and Mary. Fortunately, he manages to escape from the hands of the torturers to a nearby village. There, a nice old lady Kiki takes him under her roof. At the same time, Bobok and Mara follow Juju…
