The war in eastern Ukraine is not only about explosions, bombings, fires and names of the dead. Behind the scenes, on both sides of the front line – in apartments, basements, bus stops, in cars, on the broken roads of the Donbas – life goes on and never reaches the morning news.

“Bad Roads” are six short stories about the relationships of people whose lives were consumed by war, and about traumas that will never heal.
