Throes & The Shine (Portugal)
A musical link between Europe and Africa – a hybrid of kuduro, dynamic dance music of Angola, with electronic sounds and “cruelty” of rock.

The band was formed in 2011 in the heart of Porto, consisting of: Marco Castro, Igor Domingues and Mob Dedaldino. Together, they create an exciting and contagious stage show! They play concerts constantly. They could be heard at such prestigious festivals as Roskilde (Denmark), Lowlands (Netherlands), Rock en Seine (France), Paleo Festival (Switzerland) or Colors of Ostrava (Slovakia). They have pleyed in Europe and South America. In-between touring, they have released following albums: “Rockuduro” (2012) and “Mambos de Outros Tipos” (2014) in the independent label Lovers & Lollypops (Portugal) and “Wanga” (2016) by Discotexas. They are currently promoting their most recent album “Enza” (2019).

Throes & The Shine want to cross new borders and move the cultural mix to every corner of the world. This will be their first concert in Poland. It is worth to get surprised, especially that the artists themselves write about their music: “we want to party until we reach outer space!”.

Anna RF (Israel)
Their positive energy and original formula are almost contagious! The sound they propose is a meeting point between the East and West, a combination of old and modern instruments with live electronics. As a result, we get an interesting mix of reggae, world music and electro. They sing in different languages, including English, Hebrew and Arabic.

The band was formed in 2012. Since then, they have performed at major festivals in Germany, India, Turkey, Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland, Portugal and Russia. So far they have released four albums and an EP with remixes. Their most recent album “Flight Mode” (2018) is the result of musical travels around the world and cooperation with artists from Iraq, Morocco, India and the United States. It is a considerable achievement for three musicians who met a few years ago in a small desert village in the south of Israel.

Members of the band attach great importance to music videos that they usually shoot during journeys, including places like deserts and Himalayas. Many of them have become viral, exceeding millions of views. In 2016, thanks to the positive message of the band calling for unity, they were selected by YouTube to meet Pope Francis in the Vatican.
