Jan Sebastian Bach, furious because of the idea of sending his “Goldberg Variations” into space*, decides to deprive mankind of his legacy and give it to those, who will listen to it in space. He organises a concert of the deceased – after performing “Variations” – Glenn Gould, extracting him with the help of his own recording from the piano (in the form of the supreme puppet), after which he presents his own musical testament.

* In 1977, astronauts from NASA sent aria from “Goldberg Variations” into space, as a showcase for homo sapiens in case Martians lived there.
