A resident of Vilnius and author of the book “Vilnius. The Family History of Flavours” Ewa Wołkanowska-Kołodziej will be the guest of our meeting.
We will talk about black bread. About potato porridge and the love towards potatoes in general. Ewa Wołkanowska-Kołodziej – born in Vilnius, permanently living in Poland. She graduated from the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Warsaw as well as from the Polish School of Documentary. She has been nominated three times for the Grand Press award for her social documentaries. Together with her mother, Genowefa Wołkanowska, a well-known cook in Lithuania, she published the book “Vilnius. The Family History of Flavours”.
