Wojtek Moskwa has already traveled thousands of kilometers. After the expedition to Nepal in 2012, he began to explore the phenomenon of cremation present in both major religions of that region. He learned about sansara

Sansara – in Hinduism and Buddhism the term literally means continuous wandering, or the turn of birth and death, a cycle of reincarnations, which all living entities including divine beings are subject to for a immeasurable period. After each subsequent incarnation, the next one is selected depending on the accumulated karma.

The exhibition consists of square photographs in the formats from 20 cm to 90 cm. The photos are accompanied with personal texts written by the author over a year after the expedition. He included there stories about their origins and thoughts and autobiographical memories appearing during the preparation of photographs for the exhibition.

Wojtek Moskwa – photographer, born in Ełk (1976), lives in Warsaw. A graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology, he quit his profession to pursue photography. The leitmotiv of his work is the constant cycle of birth and death, the wandering of souls.
