Dominik Wieczorkiewicz: You are probably wondering where in my head the crazy idea of riding a scooter through the Arabian Peninsula was born? I love meeting new people, meeting exotic animals and discover mysterious nooks. I could not refuse to take part in the expedition to faithful friends – Krysia the teddy bear and scooter. I prepared the presentation for children (but not only). I went to the fairy-tale world of genies, camels, dragons, Ali Baba and the forty thieves. In winter, with childish confidence, I crossed the harsh sands of Saudi Arabia, tiny Bahrain, Oman smelling with incense and the Emirates black with oil. In the autumn I returned to the Peninsula and sailed to the Yemeni Dragon Island – Socotra. On my way I met dangerous and friendly animals and hospitable people who brought me closer to this distant enchanted corner of the world. The story is interesting because it is real, told from the heart, not from the head.

Dominik Wieczorkiewicz – kick scooter enthusiast, forester, traveler, nature educator and a little big child. Participant of many travel events. In recent years there have been several trips on the scooter, in which he was accompanied by a faithful companion, Krysia the teddy bear. A devotee of the Middle East and Arab countries. He has visited Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Algeria and Bahrain so far. He actively participates in projects promoting friendly means of transport and nature education.
