Grażyna Dworakowska, the director of the Białystok Cultural Centre, was awarded with the title of “Promoter of Poland” by the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation “Teraz Polska”.
The BCC director was honoured for “organizing The Rise of Eastern Culture / Another Dimension festival, that shows the multicultural richness of Podlachia, especially of Białystok. It promotes the ideas of dialogue and tolerance in a multicultural city”. The award was granted at the Eastern Economic Congress in Białystok.
In addition to director Grażyna Dworakowska, the awards were received by Witold Karczewski (the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Białystok), Krzysztof Pruszyński (the founder of the Blachy Pruszyński Company), and Andrzej Szumowski (the president of the Polish Vodka Association).
